Remember a time when “I have the power” was the phrase that had you crunk like Lil’ Jon gurgled it? Gas was less than a dollar. Big hair and cut up jeans were the style while even the hardest rock band gave you a love ballad. Yes, it was the 80’s where Michael Jackson was the chocolate King of Pop and Corey Haim and Corey Feldman monopolized the minds of teens, pre-teens, and young kids. In presenting my tribute to 80’s cinema this will be also my ode to the Corey’s and especially the late and great Corey Haim in the hit 80’s flick, License to Drive.

For those who know me, I have pinch for loving horrible movies. For example, there is the House series created Fred Dekker and the epitome of bad 80’s movies which is Masters of the Universe starring Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella; but twenty-three years after the creation of Masters of the Universe comes the creation of possibly the worst movie I have ever seen called MacGruber.
